These Terms & Conditions have important information about paying, delivery, cancellation, copyright, photographs and the guarantee. Please ensure you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions before ordering your Pet Portrait.
No Pet Portrait is dispatched until payment has been made in full. Payment is due when you have seen and approved your Pet Portrait online. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required upon ordering your Pet Portrait. Your Pet Portrait will not be started until this deposit has been received.
Standard lead times are between 4 - 8 weeks, but can be as long as 3 months at busy periods. Pet Portraits are delivered in the UK by Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. You will be notified on the day your Pet Portrait is dispatched and you will receive your Pet Portrait the next day. You will need to be in to sign for your Pet Portrait. Overseas Pet Portraits are delivered by 'Royal Mail Airsure '. Royal Mail can track these parcels.
If you wish to cancel your Pet Portrait please notify me as soon as possible by email. Your 25% deposit will not be refunded.
By sending me photograph(s) of your pet you are confirming that you either own the copyright to the photograph(s) or have gained permission and/or a license from the the copyright owner to grant me a license to use the photograph(s) for producing your Pet Portrait from and in advertising material for an indefinite period of time. Further, in sending me the photograph(s), you agree to indemnify me against any costs arising from claims made against me by persons claming to own the copyright
Please note that I retain full rights, including copyright and reproduction rights, in all my artwork, commissioned or otherwise. Artwork is commissioned for personal use only and may not be reproduced or used for financial gain without my written permission.Out of courtesy, I choose not to make prints of or licence privately commissioned cat portraits without asking my customer first. I like to use your Pet Portrait as an example on my website and for advertising (prospective cusomers cannot see what I do otherwise). If you are unhappy with your Pet Portrait, then there is no fee and I retain the artwork and copyright and the right to display and/or sell it to a third party, or use the image on items for sale.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your Pet Portrait and you return it safely wrapped and undamaged within 14 days you will receive a full refund including your deposit.
Pet Portraits returned damaged and/or after 14 days will not be refunded.
